As Groupon continues to grow in scale, we’re looking for an outstanding candidate to become the Operations Director Southern Europe.
Based in Milan (Italy), the successful applicant will report directly to the VP & GM Sothern Europe and will lead four Countries COOs.

Key Responsibilities:
- S/he will be working closely with the VP&GM and will develop the vision, core values and strategic plan to deliver the significant growth plan set by the group. This growth will also come through the improvement in operations processes and procedures as well as establishing and streamlining corporate operational procedures.
- Directly oversee the day to day operations of various business activities in four Countries with the objective of increasing shareholder value and prepare the organization for further growth.
- Develop awareness for the organization’s product and services to maintain and enhance customer and merchant satisfaction.
Professional Experience & Qualifications:
- University Degree, ideally with an MBA or similar;
- Strong operational experience of to at least three years (management consulting a plus) in operational management;
- Demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operational and programmatic work that involve high levels of collaboration;
- Track record of effectively leading a B2C business operation with a complex array of programs;
- Excellent project management skills;
- Fluent in English, advanced in Italian and Spanish, Portuguese and/or Greek are a plus;Ability to travel to provide on-site leadership for cross Country operating units and programs;
